Beautiful
body is a universal obsession. The eternal quest of man to own
a chiselled physique has been the driving force of body building.
Bodybuilding
is the process of mounting muscle fibers through the grouping
of weight training, increased caloric intake, and rest. As a sport,
called competitive bodybuilding, bodybuilders exhibit their physiques
to a board of judges, who assign points based upon their aesthetic
appearance. Personal training is becoming a hot profession these
days. Personal training is also the fastest growing field in the
health as
well as in the fitness industry!
A
fair hypothesis is that if you go to a gym, there will be one
personal trainer presenting his services to new bodybuilding along
with fitness enthusiasts. In order to achieve bodybuilding results,
bodybuilders push their bodies to the limit day in and day out
at the gym. However, too much of a good thing could lead to overtraining,
in which case the body would then be unable to recuperate and
grow from the training sessions. So as a result, strength decreases,
fatigue increases, anabolic hormone production go down, cortisol
increases, and to end with, the immune system function gets depressed,
which can lead to a nasty cold or a flu that will take you out
of the gym for a while.

One of the most vital things that the parents should give to their
children is a physical education or some interest in organized
sports activity.
Physical
education has slipped in precedence over the last few years. They
are able to prepare children who can pass standardized tests at
the academic level, but who are obese, diabetic, predisposed to
heart disease and likely to live a relatively short life with
high medical costs and lots of pain and suffering to boot. Some
of the misinformed doctors say obesity is genetic since the fact
that they look at parents and their children, and also draw the
erroneous conclusion that, it must be genetic because both are
obese.
If
you want your child to be physically active, the most important
thing you can do is set an example. If you rebuff to be physically
active, and yet you demand that they participate in sports, you
are sending an incongruent message, which is, "Do what I
say, not what I do." It is just like parents who smoke cigarettes
and then punish their child for taking up smoking. It makes them
frustrated, rebellious and chances that your efforts to get them
involved in physical
exercise programs are going to be unsuccessful unless
you set an example first. So find out a route to work on a mini-trampoline
in your own living room, do jumping jacks, take walks around the
block, go swimming or biking, or play Frisbee golf.
At
last, we have one last bit of advice for parents looking at getting
their children involved in physical exercise or sports programs:
Look at your child's body, and take a minute to assess what he
or she might good be at. If you have a son who is short and stocky,
he is built to be good at wrestling, and not the high jump. If
he is tall and lanky, he might be much better as a distance runner
on the track team. If he has implausible upper body strength,
he might be great at football, but if he has a weak upper body
but strong lower body, he might be a great sprinter, or he might
be really good at soccer.
Resources
are always endless and it is up to you to prefer the direction
to go. It might be up, down, sideways, backward or forward. Split
the good from the bad, the garbage from the hype, as well as the
poop from the scoop. Study a little, practice a lot and grow strong;
you have been doing it since you were born. Do not stop now; do
not make life more complex. We can catch a glimpse of its mysterious
workings though instinct cannot be fully exposed.
Instincts are inner knowledge; whims are a kind
of external emotion. Instincts perform like warriors wearing armor;
whims, like loons, run around naked. The quirky look in the mirror
and see a face with crossed eyes, a protruding tongue along with
waggling fingers stuck in ears. The spontaneous waste no time
with mirrors, images and silly expressions; they see and feel
and perceive and act for goodness sake.
