Bodybuilding is the process of mounting muscle fibers through the grouping of weight training, increased caloric intake, and rest. As a sport, called competitive bodybuilding, bodybuilders exhibit their physiques to a board of judges, who assign points based upon their aesthetic appearance. Personal training is becoming a hot profession these days. Personal training is also the fastest growing field in the health as well as in the fitness industry!

In order to achieve bodybuilding results, bodybuilders push their bodies to the limit day in and day out at the gym. However, too much of a good thing could lead to overtraining, in which case the body would then be unable to recuperate and grow from the training sessions. So as a result, strength decreases, fatigue increases, anabolic hormone production go down, cortisol increases, and to end with, the immune system function gets depressed, which can lead to a nasty cold or a flu that will take you out of the gym for a while.
